Thought I'd jump in before the date is spoiled by a curly numeral. Spent a quiet New Year's eve and day nursing a cold but hopefully now on the mend.
Listened to Andrew Cuomo's inaugural speech this afternoon and it sounded good. Too many cliches for my taste but let's give him a chance.
As for my governor, Chris Christie (Yuk!), I never heard a more self-serving bundle of twat when he explained why he stayed in Florida while New Jersey was hit by a blizzard. I guess he, too, thought he could muddle through a crisis.
It's a new year and let's see if I can be a bit more consistent in keeping you all up to date on my muddling.
